If you want to work as a yacht hostess, gain practical knowledge, and build confidence in real conditions, the Skipper4You Become a Yacht Hostess course is the best way to start your journey into the yachting business. In just 4 days, we combine theoretical instruction with real sailing in the central Adriatic, led by experienced instructors who have been working in the industry for years. After completing the course, you will be ready to work in the charter industry. No previous sailing experience is required.

The course is ideal for candidates who want to work as hostesses / yacht hostesses on board in the charter industry.
The following is required:
basic culinary knowledge
good command of English, both spoken and written
strong communication skills and a professional attitude towards guests
resourcefulness and calmness in stressful situations
ℹ️ Minimum 4 – maximum 6 participants per boat
ℹ️ The course is for adults only
ℹ️ No previous sailing experience is required

Practical skills for the yacht hostess role
organization of work on board, communication with guests and the charter company, handling crisis situations
Assisting the skipper
basic maneuvering, mooring, anchoring, leaving the berth, docking approach, mooring to a buoy, navigation basics and route planning, working on different types of boats
Basic technical know-how
common malfunctions and how to respond, onboard systems, basic sail-related issues
Onboard galley
using the galley on board, menu planning, provisioning, serving food and drinks, food and wine pairing
Cleaning and maintenance
deck, galley, saloon, cabins, and bathrooms
Safety
safety procedures, man overboard, safety briefing

The course is held at Marina Agana, located in the small town of Marina, near Trogir.
No previous sailing experience is required.
Anyone who meets the required criteria has the opportunity to continue working with the Skipper4You crew agency.
The Become a Yacht Hostess course lasts 4 days.
It is enough to have a basic knowledge of English and be able to communicate with guests.
You can become a yacht hostess by enrolling in and completing the Become a Yacht Hostess course.

During the course, all participants sleep on the boat.
The gathering of the participants will take place the evening before, by 7 PM.
